Josiah's 1st Day of Kindergarten

Josiah did so much better this year than he did last year. He cried just a little but was able to smile for all the pictures. He's also riding the bus this year from the school over to the day care, which is only about a mile away. So far he doing really well. We are so proud of him!

This is his teacher Miss Allison.

This is Josiah seat, he's right by the teacher desk.

He picked out his shirt for the 1st day. It's Wolverine.

All the kids go to the lunch room and line up with their class. This is when he teared up the most because he knew I was leaving.

Josiah's 2nd Day.

Just a few more tears on day 2.

Christmas Programs

This was at Josiah's Pre-K Christmas Program. If you can't tell this is the little girl Josiah kissed at his Thanksgiving lunch. I guess they're still an item!!

Micah tried to take out the snowman with his head. He was tired of being there and was taking it out on the snowman.
Notice who Josiah is sitting by on the right.

This was our Church Christmas Program. Josiah sang and played bells. He did a good job.

Josiah Kissed a Girl!!!

Today was Josiah’s Thanksgiving lunch at school. As we were walking down to the lunch room this little girl walked up to Josiah and asked her mom if she could hold Josiah’s hand. Josiah looked up at me to see if he could and I told him he could. Then as we were waiting in line in the lunch room Josiah gave her a hug, then she gave him a hug, then Josiah hugged her again and gave her a nice big kiss on the cheek!! The little girl just smiled real big and giggled. It was the cutest thing ever. He has a little girlfriend!!

Josiah's 1st Dentist Appointment

Josiah had his first visit to the dentist. He was a little nervous at first and said he didn't want to do it, but the dentist convinced him to let him count his teeth and after that he did great. He has 20 healthy strong teeth with no cavities!!! We were very proud of him.

Josiah's school trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Josiah's class got to take a trip to the pumpkin patch in town. It was so much fun!

Josiah and a few of his classmates.
One of the areas to visit at the pumpkin patch was a story book reading. Josiah kept getting up to point out things he liked in the book. The lady kept having to ask him to sit down. Eventually he had all the kids following him standing up to point things out of the book.

Grandma got to go too.

Josiah's 1st Day of School

Josiah had a really tuff time going to school. He had anxiety over it for weeks before school even started. If anyone asked him about it he would shout "I'm not going to school, I'm not going". His first day wasn't as bad as it could have been but he was not very happy. He cried from the time he woke up.

As you can see he was happy once he got out of school. This was taken right after he got to Aunt Shee Shee's while I was there on my lunch break. He said he had a good time, but when I asked him if he was excited to go back tomorrow he said "Oh no, I'm not going back tomorrow, I'm not going!"

Day 2 went much better! He actually let me take some really cute pictures of him smiling! I tried to play outside with him for a little bit before we went inside just to loosen him up a bit, but once we got inside he started to get upset. He cried the 2nd day also but not as bad as the 1st day.

The third day when we pulled into the parking lot he said "Mommy I don't wan't to take anymore pictures". I guess the 1st & 2nd day is good enough. Today was his 7th day of school. He is doing much better. Now he just hangs his head low and stands in the door way pouting util the teacher destracts him. He says he has a lot of fun and always seems excited to show us his work. He's doing a really good job. We're very proud of him!
